I suppose when one pays $275 for a two-course price-fixe lunch for two (including two drinks, supplements, tip, tax, etc.) one is going to be inclined to like it - and I did. The food is quite good. Their sea bass is one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. The service was excellent. Our waiter was well-mannered and solicitous. But what you’re paying for is convenience and ambiance. It was true luxury to park below the Met and bring my elderly father up in the elevator for lunch, and then needing to take only a few steps to our seats. So was sitting in front of the vast windows of that mid-century palace, basking in the mid-winter sun. I am glad I did it once.

We had the most delightful dining experience at the grad tier restaurant thanks to our awesome server Buddy! He made great suggestions, offered helpful tips & advice, attentive service and the best smile in NYC!! The food was perfect from start to finish too. Highly recommend the beef tenderloin dish. Thank you Chef. We’ll be back again and again for many encores.

The veal was fantastic. Order it. The chocolate mousse cake had a nice soft texture but the flavor was a little overpowering , unable to finish it. Servers did a great job and Henry one of staff members was really friendly and made sure I had everything I needed in time for the show & during intermission he also made sure I made it back in time.
